Hi everyone! Because sometime it's hard to write to everyone and we are all busy, well I tought it might be a good idea to do my own blog. I'll try to keep it updated (well, when there are some interesting things happening in my life here or somewhere else in the world). Your job is to give me your comments about the blog to tell me if you have acces to it and if you can read it ok. So, let's start with the lastest news from me!
It's been a month now since I'm back to Québec. I'm ok, but the last month has been quite boring and quite! My friends begin to come back or to have a bit of time to see me. I took the last month to relax and visit my own city and the places I like here. Here are some photos from dowtown of Québec with old buildings typical of the city.
Then I also went for a walk in the forest alone and with my mom. The colours are changing, the smell is amazing and the weather is not too bad neither. Maple trees are changing from green to yellow or brigth red. Pine trees still dark green and other trees are becoming yellow and orange. Because there is a lot of humidity (rivers or rain) then the smell is much more intense here than (depending of the places of course). At this period of the year we smell mosses, mushrooms, humid earth and some sweet odours I can't associate to something specific, but the mix of all these smell makes Fall my favorite season for walk in the bush. Today I did bring my binocular and my bird guide for the walk. I didn't see much birds (mésanges and bruants) and when I wanted to identify more specificly the bruant, I took my bird guide and realise that I did bring my Australian Bird Guide! Ok, I know I look really stupid now, but it was the guide on the pile of book and I didn't think when I took it! Anyways, the walk was great and it was the main goal of the exercise!
